For those under 26 years
If you are under 26 years old at the time of departure, you can travel with a youth ticket with Widerøe. The ticket can be combined with SAS youth tickets. Children can also travel on youth tickets if accompanied by a young person over 16 years old. However, the ticket does not apply to unaccompanied minors (UM), and it is assumed that passengers travelling on a youth ticket can either manage on their own or not travel alone. Youth tickets cannot be combined with other ticket types such as adult, child or senior.
Over 26 years and a student? Travel with a student ticket
The Youth Smart ticket type includes one checked baggage allowance of 23 kg. If you travel on Mini tickets, baggage is not included. The number of seats available at youth prices per flight is limited, and youth tickets are only permitted for leisure travel. The change fee may also increase if you combine the ticket with other ticket types or other airlines.
Remember to bring valid photo ID showing your date of birth when travelling with a youth ticket. Passengers aged 18 or over who cannot present valid ID will be denied boarding. In addition, you must enter your date of birth when booking the ticket.
If you want to make booking even easier next time, you can create a profile on My Trips so that your date of birth and other details are ready when you book travel.
