For those who are students aged 26 to 31 inclusive
Widerøe is the only airline offering student tickets, because young students are the future.
If you are a full-time student, you can travel with a student discount on tickets with Widerøe. (Full-time student means studying at least 25 hours a week, for a minimum of 12 weeks during a year).
Important to remember - student ID!
Remember that you must show a valid student ID when travelling with a student ticket. If you cannot present a valid student ID, you will be denied boarding. In addition, you must enter your date of birth when booking the ticket. If the student ID has no photo, you must have another valid photo ID as well. Feel free to create a profile on My trips so that your date of birth and other details are ready when you make a booking.

Terms Student Ticket
- Student tickets can be used on all Widerøe's own routes domestically and internationally
- Children can also travel on a student ticket if accompanied by a student
- Applies only to travel for private/leisure purposes.
- Availability may vary depending on the route.
There is a limited number of student tickets per departure. If your journey involves one or more flight changes (e.g. Sandefjord-Trondheim-Mosjøen), student tickets must be available on each individual segment for it to be possible to travel on a student ticket for the entire route. If you search for a route with multiple flight changes and do not find an available student ticket for the entire route, you may find student tickets for parts of the route if you split your search.
Travelling with an infant
Book a student ticket and indicate in the passenger details by ticking "Assistance" and writing in the text box that you are travelling with an infant.
