Special needs

All our travellers have different needs. To be able to offer you the best possible assistance, we must be informed of your needs at least 48 hours before the flight.

Inform us about your needs

Widerøe offers services to persons with reduced mobility or special needs in accordance with Regulation (EC) 1107/2006.

If you book your flight less than 48 hours before departure, we will try to assist to the best of our ability, but unfortunately we cannot guarantee that we can provide what you need.

Can I bring a wheelchair on the plane?

Wheelchairs and other equipment necessary for daily life can be brought on board free of charge. Read more about wheelchairs on the plane here
 
I am allergic to dogs. What should I do?

You have the option to reserve against animals being booked in the cabin on your departure. You must notify us of this when you book your trip. Use the remarks field "Passenger with special needs" when entering passenger details. If an animal has already been booked on board the flight, we will notify you of this and possibly offer an alternative departure. Read more about allergies here
