Medical Certificate
Flying can be a strain on the body. For some conditions, you must bring a certificate stating that you are fit to fly. Please bring a medical certificate if you:
- Have recently been ill or hospitalised and/or have a medically unstable condition
- Require extra oxygen or need to use medical equipment (read more below)
- Are in the final stage of pregnancy
If the staff consider that you are too ill to travel, you may be denied boarding.
Oxygen
If you require oxygen on board, you must bring it with you. You must book your ticket at least 48 hours before departure, specifying this under the "Passenger with special needs" field in the booking.
- Liquid oxygen is strictly prohibited on board the aircraft
- Each passenger may bring more than one cylinder as long as this is within the usual hand luggage requirements (55 x 40 x 20 cm)
- Each cylinder must not exceed 5 kg gross weight and a maximum pressure of 200 bar
- Oxygen for use on board can be brought in addition to hand luggage at no extra cost
Please inform our gate staff and cabin crew that you are travelling with oxygen.
