Tickets can be cancelled from My Trips or via the link in the email with confirmation and receipts that you receive when you book a trip. To cancel the entire trip, navigate to "Cancel" in My Trips or in the email. If you only want to cancel parts of the trip, select "Change" and then the changes you wish to make.
The full amount can be refunded if the cancellation takes place within 24 hours after the booking was completed and if Widerøe is part of the trip (for trips operated by other airlines, the airline's own rules apply). After 24 hours, different rules apply for each ticket type. See the table below.
Cancel trip
Log in or retrieve your booking using the reference number and surname to cancel the trip.

Note that the right to a full refund of Mini and Smart tickets upon cancellation within 24 hours only applies if the ENTIRE booking is cancelled
* For Mini and Smart tickets where the trip starts less than 24 hours after booking, the 24-hour full refund only applies up to 2 hours before departure.
**If you have changed the ticket from a non-refundable ticket to a refundable ticket, the original ticket price is not refundable.
Refund in case of illness or death
Illness can occur unexpectedly. If the traveller or family members become ill at the time of travel, the usual rules for cancellation and refund apply. Therefore, Widerøe also offers Cancellation Protection.
If Cancellation Protection has been added to the booking, the entire amount will be refunded if the trip cannot be carried out due to illness of the traveller or immediate family.
Death
In the event of death, the same rules apply as for changes or refunds of tickets. We ask that you contact your insurance company to get refunded for costs related to cancellation or changes of flight tickets.
Cancellation protection
Cancellation protection can be added to your booking. The service must be purchased together with the ticket.
